The Human Hibachi series began with the 2019 film, shot in 2018 in parts of New Jersey and Delaware. It follows Katie Williams on her 35th birthday, as her boyfriend records the day's events, leading to a hibachi restaurant's secret catering to wealthy cannibals. The sequel, Human Hibachi 2: Feast in the Forest (2022), filmed in Mount Holly, New Jersey, follows two friends obsessed with the first video who encounter a family of cannibals in the woods. A short prequel, Human Hibachi: The Beginning (2023), shows the origins of the character Jin in Japan before he came to the United States. The fourth installment, Human Hibachi 3: The Last Supper (2025), filmed partly at Troma Entertainment studios in New York City, features a hyper-religious cult leader who hosts a cannibalistic 'last supper.'
